Narrative Project

Story from Ahren (for the second photo):
It’s three thirty A.M. on a Saturday morning. Maggie, a twenty-two year old tom-boy walks through a parking lot where a tragic incident happened eight hours ago. Her brother, Johnny, was jumped by a local gang and stabbed to death. She walks slowly towards the scene of the crime where she sees the outline of her brother on the ground. Blood stains are still visible around the drawn outline of the body. She stops in front of the scene, clinching her fist. Maggie looks down, a single tear rolls down from her eye. Maggie sighs and looks up, “God give me strength. He was the only brother I had that you gave me… please give me peace, because all I feel is rage and hate, and all I want is to avenge him. This is what I want, I won’t sleep till they’re found and brought down. I will never look away. Behind her, someone speaks, “Maggie, I’m sorry.
